Pink Anderson was a Blues singer and guitarist from Laurens, South Carolina. Born in 1900 he became known while touring with Dr. Kerr of the Indian Remedy Company, playing shows all over the country and doing some recordings for Columbia records around the late 1920’s.

After the retirement of Dr.Kerr , Anderson would occasionally tour when he got the chance but he was limited by his heart problems in the 1950s.Anderson took part in the blues revival movement commencing in the 1960s and recorded some albums on his own and played some folk clubs and even made a movie appearance in 1963’s The Bluesmen.
