Ben Andrews was born in 1960 in former Yugoslavia and was adopted by an American Diplomatic family and grew up in the UK.  He studied classical guitar at the age of 8 and by the age of 14 he was already performing folk and blues music in the D.C. area.

Ben died on April 13th, 2011 at the age of 51.
